Who exactly is Artemis? (greek goddess, known as Diana to the romans)?

The virgin Goddess and the goddess of the hunt, also twin sister to the god of music, Apollo. Artemis was a warrior type goddess who harbored a deep prejudice regarding men. One of the famous myths about her is when a man happened to stumble across the creek she was bathing in and, as punishment, she had him torn apart by her hunting dogs.
I kinda forgot about all the greek myths, but if i remember correctly, she was the Goddes of the Hunt. She used to go and hunt in the forrest with her (girl) friends.

I think, that in the myth, it was like she was in love and that person got turned into a deer, or she got turned into a deer, and then that deer was shot during a hunt. Or something like that. Haha Like i said, I can
