Any vietnamese or asian girls?

ok. so i have a girl friend but she's vietnamese . and i need to learn vietnamese by the end of this year her mom said or we probaly gotta break up . can someone teach me some or what should i do?

That's such a terrible ultimatum! Does she expect you to be fluent in the language or do you only need to learn the basics? You might have to invest in some Rosetta Stone. This also gives you a good reason to spend more time with your girlfriend so she can help you out.

Lol you're whipped by her mom?

some kind off a grils friend. get a tudor that can help you learn this type off languages :)

wtf? you must really like her cause aint no way i would date a person who makes you do thinks

Who is tired of being single?

im tired of being single but i dont want to rush into a relationship, what about you?

I love you :)

me :/

when i realised i like girls i lost all interest in guys and didnt even bother w/ them. but then i realised that its pretty much impossible for me to get a gf, at least in hs, so i tried pursuing guys. but it turns out i forgot how the hetero dating scene went, and totally f*cked up w/ this one guy who im so sure used to like me. i acted way too into him, and now he lost interest.. and i was under the impression that guys were easy. silly me. but hey, lesson learned.. ill move on to the next guy. i know its awful, but i just miss dating.

<3

i`m so tired of being single, i totaly have a major crush on one of my friends he`s soooooo cute, we`ve cuddled and stuff and i swear i could hold that boy forever, i like him so much... *sigh* :(

i wish i knew why no one liked me back

i am so tired of it. im very lonely. oh well, ill meet someone when the time is right i guess. i just hope that time is soon.

*raises hand* pick me pick me!! :P I hate being single but i think that a rush relationship could make me even worse so I keep waiting :D

Yeah im tired of it too... someone at school likes me but he's not really my type but I feel bad because no one else at my school is bi/gay so i dont really know what to do ._<

I can totally relate to your situation.

i am, but i don't wanna rush into a relationship ethier

Somewhat... it would be nice to have and know that you have someone, but maybe good things come to those who wait.

Im soo tired too:(

Yep, sure am. Too bad I'm so picky, most people bore me.

I've been without for over a year. I'm lonely... :(

amen to that! ...man, party at my house! open bar and strippers! woohoo

yea i get u i feels this way alot

What do you think and any other thoughts?

My "LITERARY" skills are nil to none, I admit!

Mr. President. I have voted with the Democratic Party for all but once in my life. My concern is the immigration policy that I hear that you want to proceed on.

Mr. President, I am against legalizing any illegal immigrants. I feel we should stop turning our head and looking the other way, saying one thing and allowing their invasion of our country. I know invasion is a hard lined word but that is how strongly I feel about it.

The stimulas package is coming out of our pockets I feel it should go to Americans, not someone who breaks the law. They cross the boarder illegally and get a job, we cross the street wrongly and get a jaywalking ticket (I live in Kansas, this really does happen, no joke). They cannot get a job that will protect us, (police, military, fireman), their contribution cannot compare to the weight that they cause on society. As far as them contributing to our economy, that is an outrageous statement. The fact is they recieve less in pay and therefore takes jobs away from Americans who have been living and paying taxes our whole lives. Where is the justice there? There is also the fact that they falsify documents to recieve welfare. Along with that they work under they table. Some of this money goes TO MEXICO, this is NOT a pleasing thought. This consience that you want us to adopt, we have the problem and now lets make Americans pay for this in re of allowing the illegals get jobs (take our money) falls in the line of the argument concerning the stimulas package. When do we stop? This is not the answer. We should get them out, tax/fine MEXICO in the line of NAFTA jobs, imports, etc.. Next we should tax all businesses that hire them put a sign in the window NOT TO BE TAKEN DOWN IN OR PUNISHABLE UNDER LAW and promote that ppl do not buy from that business. Stop looking with our eyes wide shut (yes, shut) to their apparent illegal status!

Please, do not continue with the illegal immigrant policy of legalizing. America does not want this. Sometimes we do have to take care of home first.

Last but not least, I am sure that you feel along with many that slavery was not right, true? This consience that they don't get paid anyway is so disconcerting and they are doing the jobs that Americans won't take, IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. Your answer to that is to make them legal? Give them a job? Blacks were not paid a dime and still are paid less and worked much harder. You will not address this problem but you want to add to taking away of the jobs that they could have...... those that WAS THE MAKING OF AMERICA, that in less than 200 years made America a super world power.

Mr. President, please do not do this. This is the time to take a hard line.

WOW i sooo agree with you, my Economics professor was talking about this on Monday, AMericans do have problems but all we do is talk and talk and talk but never do anything about it. i have nothing against Mexicans or any other illegal immigrants, its just that if you're going to come to america, why risk being caught when you can just come in the legal way? It does get VERY irritating and we all wonder WHY hasn't anything been done about it, because you're right, THEY come over here, get jobs and then go back home with OUR money. and we're in a recession right now, so that's even worse. if Obama were to see this, hopefully he will be moved. We need to start helping ourselves.

How should people react, more so students,to discrimination?

The saying goes, Evil prevails when good men do nothing.

Start with yourself, don't tolerate discrimination, don't discriminate, stand up for your rights as well as others. We are all in this together.

Dan, discrimination does exist. I still hear/see people discriminating against muslims cause they believe all of them are, "terrorists". I say students should just ignore it, then again students today just say discrimating stuff ALL the time, so no one should take it serously. If they do, then just ignore them.

Just go with the flow. I was a Middle Easterner who went to college in the dirty south. I faced it a lot. I just smiled, and did what I was there to do...to study so I could graduate and get a good job. I did that.

In the real world, you will face discrimination too. Use discrimination in college as a test. Use it like the flu vaccine is to the flu...Use it to make you stronger.

unlikely they have ever seen real discrimination, it hardly exist

How do u not let tensions get to u?

I vent to my husband and/or friends and come to the conclusion (usually) that things I cannot change are not worth stressing over. What I can change I give my best effort - that's all I can do in life.

I also pray...but I know that isn't a very popular answer here on Yahoo Answers....

I just take deep breaths and tell myself it's my choice if I want to freak out or not, and freaking out won't do much to remedy anything so why waste my energy.

Then I work to find a solution to the stress.

I just make a concious choice not to let it get to me!

I can't explain it. As a child I learned to cut off my emotions like a light switch. Off and on. Very simple.

I exercise or go for a walk.

Disabled face book account?

Really? I hope you are younger than 10. Jeez, can't this be asked in a different category?

Is replacing Leno with O

Jay Leno was born in 1950 and Conan O'Brien was born in 1963.

Age has nothing to do with it. From what I have read Leno needs a break. It other words it is voluntary.

no.there was some sort of deal, once johnny carson retired, that his show would be taken by leno for a specific period of time, then ceded to o'brian.not sure why they did this, maybe they couldnt decide between o'brien and leno,so divided the show into a time period for both? i remember reading about this years ago, that they would each have a shot at it.

Yeah, its time to get rid of that old phart, and replace him with someone that is young, and hip, and cool, and with-it(oops, 60's), and more appealing to the younger set, more appealing to the young audience that TV (and all other US entertainment) is aimed at.

I'm not sure. I haven't heard any of the reasons for Leno's departure. Of the two, I've always like O'Brien the best. Jay's done a decent job though. He had big shoes to fill after the king of night time tv, Johnny Carson.

No, age has nothing to do with it. I never stay up that late, but I haven't watched since Johnny left. Don't care for Leno.

After Johnny Carson it just is not the same anyway!

heeeeeerrrrrrreesss Johnny!!!!

No, I think it's poor judgment. Conan is way, way to silly! I for one won't watch.

After Johnny Carson left I quit watching.

Leno is not that funny.

no but obrien is funnier and more loveable.

What do you miss most about the

I miss feeling safe even if it wasn't. We did not have the news media blasting the same old bad news over and over and over again causing people to be anxious. I miss not having to worry about people trying to steal my identity, break in my house, and steal my belongings. I miss when there were less cars on the road and you could take a "leisurely" drive on Sunday and enjoy the view. People were not in a hurry to go nowhere back then. I miss the good food. I miss friendly neighborhoods with people you could trust and count on. I miss people with manners who taught their kids that they were not God's gift to the world. I miss not being anxious about killer mosquitoes and bees. I miss a lot but they say you can never go home again.

The freedom of stress. I loved my life in the good old days, going to school sports, dances and the social life. Life was so easy then.

We are having our fifty year reunion this summer.

I enjoy my life in a different way now, with my family and love them so much. We have more concerns now with health and economy as I realize many young people do as well. I didn't worry back then about all my investments going belly up.

High school and youth were good old days too.

Back in the 70s, I had my youth, a good job that I loved and great friends who were mostly artists and writers. We had some wonderful parties and I didn't know yet that booze would hurt me. My dad was still alive and Mom was "herself".

Thank God, I still have my wife and my health is good. As long as I have those, I'm living the "Good Ol' Days".

Being able to sit outside and hear birds singing instead of traffic and planes . Hearing children playing outdoors and their parents calling them in at dusk. Going anywhere after dark without fear. Being able to walk to a corner store for an ice-cream cone.

Well, one, I've got a plaque in my kitchen that says THESE are the good old days. But what I miss about the world then is the relaxation about possible crime. It just so rarely happened.

Just about everything.

happyness :( no worrys ,no boyfriend ,no babys....

Ice cream trucks had soft serve ice cream with real cones. And real shaved ice for sno-cones.

Miss all my boys from my highschool crew.. were all seperated doing our own thangs now.

Pokemon

Happiness and carefree!!

Being younger and not achy all the time.

My appearance.

That today when I look back they were not as good as I once thought. Poppy

That I had my virginity.

The 1960's muscle cars !

simple clean fun, not heard of today !!

Do men come on here just to pick up women?

Can't speak for all of us,but I enjoy talking back and forth with some of the women here.Does that mean I want to try to pick them all up?of course not. That's about as unrealistic as obama straightening out the mess the country is in! If the opportunity ever came to meet someone and do dinner or something along those lines, then yes,I probably would.

If I go to a club on ecstasy how likely am I to be caught/what happens if you are caught on it not in possesio?

If i go to a dance night club (energy in near chicago) and take ecstasy will i be likely to be caught? its my first time going but i have done xtc plenty of times (and dont tell me how bad it is)

If you get caught high, but you don't have anything on you. The most that will happen is you will spend 1 or 2 nights in jail for public intoxication. It's according to the nightclub and how much security they have and how lenient/strict the bouncers are as to whether or not they will turn you in. A lot of dance clubs overlook people using e because they don't want to lose customers. Just don't do too much or you'll pass/spazz out and they'll have to call an ambulance and you'll definitely be busted then.

It depends how crazy you actin. Oh have you been to Avila yet?

Lesbians/bi women...Have you ever met a woman who is interested in you but...?

Have you ever met a woman who is interested in you but doesn't like chatting/flirting over IM?

If so, did you ever find out the reason? Is it that some people simply don't like to IM or are they conscious and sceptical about sending written messages over the Internet?

I do understand why some people just prefer to talk and flirt in person.....cuz I do too..

IM is not very personal or emotional. It's easy to disregard an IM message. Hearing somebody's voice is more of a connection. It's a greater bond and I think generally, you can trust someone just a bit more if you at least hear sincerity in their voice. I'm old school. I'd rather talk over the phone than IM, text, or "tweet" my friends.

No, I actually think it's so much easier to talk over the internet.

noppe neverrr

no way

no. all the girls i kno r straight

i guess some ppl prefer rl contact..

<3

Who do you love and care more? Your...?

...mom or your dad? Why? Do people tend to have a closer connection with their mom? Or, their dad?

When I was young, I loved my mom much more than my dad, because my mom was with us 24/7 and we saw our dad only at night.

Now, I have changed, especially when I know that it was not easy for a man to support a big family like ours, he must have gone through a lot of hardship. I have come to realise that I was wrong for loving my mom more than my dad.

My dad, if I had to chose. I don't see or talk to my mother at all, she was very abusive as a child & still is. My dad I don't see or talk to but he never went out of his way to harm me the way my mother did.

My Mom. Because her and I communicate better. I was always too afraid to tell my Dad anything because I was afraid that he would get mad at me :(...but my mom is really understanding and I can tell her anything.

God. then my mom then evrybody else comes in place.

Whoever puts Gawd above their family is either stupid or insane.

I'm alot closer to my mom. There are so many things that I could say to my mom, but not my dad.

My mom, because he was the one who has always cared about us (me and sis), every sense. My dad left when I was 10.

xxxx.

my mom, my dad doesnt even live in the same country as me and refuses to pay child support. hes merely a man.

Do you agree with me about Nieghbours?

Dont you all think that Working-Class Ramsay Street would house many different people like millionaire hotel magnet Paul Robinson, school princibel Susan Kennedy and Lawyer Toadie but in reality do you think Andrie Reiu of whatever his name is would realy *** 2 ''the suburbs''

Yes I agree. I don think Ramsay street accurately reflects Australian society and the type of people that would be living in that sort of neighbourhood. The people are mostly middle class that you mentioned so it is likely a school principal and lawyer may live there, but perhaps not a millionaire. But hey, it a TV program.

They're considered working class? They live in f*cking mansions.

Edit: Alright maybe they're not mansions but a working class family would not be living in a detached 4 bedroom house, would they?

no but andre reiu loves the show so it was a bit of a gimic... a laugh.. watevs

Can the registry office offer me 2 witnessess for civil partnership.?

Help? me and my partner want to have civil partnership on our own, would the registrar be able to bring in 2 witnesses from the office or building?if we ask 2 friends this will upset our familys that they went and they didnt,if we ask our 2 mums this will upset the rest of the family,we dont want huge family rows,we just want to do it on our own,i havent got the bottle to drag 2 people in off the streets, and thats a little degrading anyway,do you think 2 workers at the office would come in?

No, but you can ask two random people on the street. I did the same for my register office "wedding" and just asked 2 friends that weren't part of the group. Ie two friends that didn't know anyone else.

If you live in Bham, my partner and I will be your witnesses if that would help? register office staff cannot be your witnesses, but you could drag two people off the street, by the hair! lol that would go down well.

I would ask all your family and friends to come. If money is a little tight, why not have your reception back at the house? If you don't invite any of them, they will be p'd off and upset anyway.

No, register office officials are not allowed to take part in being witnesses

Dear Senior citizens, what you would had said to Jim, if you were his grandparents ?

Imagine that Jim and Ted are two friends who have grown together and have always shared the same opinion and perception about the things around them. They are now in their pre-teens. Jim had seen how his parents had shifted his grandparents to a old age home when his parents had learnt that Jims dad could not inherit any property from his parents as all the ancestoral property had been sold out to repay the huge loans taken by them to educate Jims father.

Jim : That was so selfish of my parents to treat my grand parents that way

Ted : I agree with you Jim on that one

Jim : My Dad was never grateful to his parents for having given him such good education. It bites me from inside when I think of this.

Ted : Do you go to visit your grandparents ?

Jim : Yeah ! I do. I carry with me some roses and some fruits when I go to visit them on their weekends.

Ted: Thats nice. What do they tell you when you go there ?

Jim: They tell me that I should not become like my father and that I should see that I always remain grateful for whatever my parents have done for me.

What you would had said to Jim if you were his grandparents ?

The grandparents are still guiding Jim in something more valuable than an inheritance of property.

They're teaching him morals, and he's a good student.

They've accepted what has happened and they probably would not change anything. It was their choice to give their son a good education.

That was their way of doing a good job as parents.

And the father is teaching his son how to treat elderly parents, even though he does not realize it.

I think Jim should continue to see his grandparents and to appreciate what he has in life and not to worry about his father who seems to be taking care of himself first, last and always. Jim should make the most of what he has and continue to be more compassionate than his father.

They raised the kid to be a brat and then complained that they were successful.

Mr. Shaikh, are you Jim or Ted? Is Jim's father a rich man, who could afford to buy his parents a home of their own? Are Jim's Grandparents healthy and able to take care of themselves, or do they need constant medical care? Could Jim's parents have them live in their own home with a full-time nurse? Would Jim's mother be able and willing to be that nurse? There are many questions.

Jim should continue to be the caring and compassionate young man that he seems to be and when he is an adult, he may see things differently. Until that time, Jim should withhold judgment of his parents.

Parents make many sacrifices for their children. Well, some do. Some wont and some cant. If they were expecting to be repaid they should have made it evident as a condition for the loan. Perhaps a contract would have been the thing to do. The money I have given my child for college has no conditions, I don't expect to be repaid.

However, it is selfish to reek all the benefits and not in some way repay your parents. Yes, be grateful of your parents and grandparents.

How did you parents react when you told them you were gay/bisexual?

I've heard of parents who aren't particularly homophobic, but react negatively when they find out their children are homosexual/bisexual.

Why do you think this is? Are they just worried about the troubles their child will inevitably face because of their sexuality, or is it something else? Is it different when it's 'your own child'?

How did your parents react?

Were the supportive?

I haven't told my parents yet, but I'm really worried about doing it.

I don't thing they'll over react, but the other day, my brother asked my Mom what "heterosexual" meant and she said "normal." :S

My dad thought i was confused, then I yelled t him and he understood.

My mom, the first thing to come out of her mouth: "are you still joining the military or what?" It was weird but my family is totally accepting. I had it easy coming out, my sister had already been out of the closet for 4 yrs.

It was nothing shocking to my parents, they told me they had suspected before but didnt want to ask.

my mom told me as long as whoever i fell in love with made me happy, she would be fine with it. well that person turned out to be a girl and so far my mom has stuck to her word. she has been there for me to talk to and although i can tell she doesnt like it, she is not going to try to change me. me father and i havent discussed it but im sure he knows, and he hasnt treated me any differently. its my sisters that are unsupportive because they are so religous, but theyre not the ones who are paying for me to go to college and such. so i have it pretty easy for now. i think its going to cross a whole new line when i wan to get married...but that is another story.

My mother is an intelligent, open minded woman, with a few gay friends. I was amazed when I came out to her, the first things she said was WHAT DID I DO WRONG. She was a bit shocked, and indicated her main reason was that she knows gays has many stresses and suffer daily from discrimination. She has supported me ever since.

i just came out 2 my mom not yet 2 my dad ( but i know my mom has probably already told him & he wants me 2 tell him but im still scared 2 come out 2 him) my mom told me "if it makes u happy but dnt ever show it in front of me" she hates all my exes & who ever i date but she doesn't intervene or try 2 separate us just talks bad about who ever i date

i havent told my mom but i have told my bff and it didnt change much most of the people i meet i tell them i am bi and they are generally ok with it considering that i almost got kick out of school for expressing my opinion to a straight girl i have had it ok especially with guys who like threesomes

My parents werent supportive at all, i was disowned and physically threatened, it was overall just a really bad experience..

I had no idea just how extreme their homphobia was and it made for a very scary an unhelpful time.

my mom didn't like it.

she just thought that i was going through a phase and that i was confused. but now she's kind of okay with it.

They accepted me with open arms. It just shows how much they really love me..

To tell you the truth, I'm the one who's still not accepting that I'm gay, but I'm trying too hard.

My father gave me the "homosexuals are unhappy and most commit suicide," speech. Mom denied it....

20 years later... neither have much to say about it... they got over it.

WELL THEIR A BUNCH OF JESUS FREAKS AND THEY FLIPPED OUT. THEY LITERALLY HATE MY ***. THAT ABOUT SUMS IT UP BUT ILL LIVE CUZ IM GETTING IMANCIPATED. WOOT!!

I wish I had a good answer. I still haven't told my wife I am bi curious so wish I knew.

Mine told me I was going to hell, and then told me that my high school turned me gay.....lol, the are still in denial

Americans: do you think that you may be...?

More sensitive than the British

or is it just that

British humour is difficult to understand

I just find that Americans don't get British jokes. Perhaps it's a cultural thing. I am wondering if Americans are just more sensitive or it is us and our humour.

I think some Americans do not understand British humor because I think it's high brow. I love British humor. I prefer the British versions of tv shows like the Office. I love Fawlty Towers and Ab Fab. I've been trying to watch Are You Being Served? but I think it's dated. I don't always get it and it does seem a bit slow or maybe it's the sound quality isn't very good. I missed Monty Python. What I have seen - very funny. I love British drama. The Importance of Being Earnest - very funny. I love Shakespeare.

American humor is kind of lame. We have some funny things but a lot of it is so elementary. Boring for me. I have my masters. I minored in English in college. I have always loved literature and language.

The accent makes it hard also for people to understand.

With British humor - I've noticed that it's subtle - you have to think - it's quiet. I love that. I find it's more satisfying then if it's so blatant and in my face.

It's just a cultural thing.

I've found that Americans have more obvious humor whereas the British have more subtle humor. That's why alot of Americans don't get British jokes or it takes them a little while to get it...they aren't used to thinking about it and paying attention to the little things that make British humor funny.

And honestly these days I think American humor is getting a little ridiculous. I've found most of the newer American comedies to be extremely unfunny and don't understand how people can love them so much. I can't remember the last time I went to the movies to see a comedy and actually had a good long laugh. Most of it is so stupid.

I think that it's just cultural differences. It's hard to ask if a whole country is more sensitive than another because there are so many peple that make up one country. I was watching a Beatles movie the other day and the British humor took me a little longer to understand but it was still funny :)

I think British humour is difficult for them to get. They prefer slapstick what i call 'fart in your face' humour, or humour without a 'u' in it.... :-)

For example, this American guy at my work used to love racing and was going on about it. Then he was saying how awful it was because one of the drivers died mid race by crashing into a wall. I said 'at least he died fast' and started chuckling. He looked blank for a moment and then confused, then continued talking. He didn't get the tone or the context lol. Well i enjoy my little jokes anyway!

i'm british and i think most american humour isnt funny, its all rude nad slapstick whereas our humour is more about our culture and daily life.

its just a different kind and they dont understand it.

thats why americans look at me wierd when i'm being sarcastic they dont get it unless you laugh after or it was something totally unrealistic.

its just the difference in our cultures!

Some years ago I would have agreed with you wholeheartedly, but I think we're blending slightly better nowadays. Speaking as an English person I would still avoid the majority of American "comedy" films and TV programmes (described in my house as "oh god not another crap american non-comedy") but we do have common ground. Monty Python made a breakthrough, and more recently so did programmes like Friends and Frasier.

They don't get it. That's why there's a lot of misunderstanding involved. You say something, you laugh, they don't get it and think you are laughing at them. Like the old joke goes:

How do you confuse a Yank? Put 2 shovels against the wall and tell him to take his pick.

My experience of Americans is that they have no sense of humour. They either don't get jokes or take everything way too seriously. They can't laugh at themselves.

Having said that, South Park is f****** funny.

British/European culture is reserved and dignified in a way that most Americans will never understand. Both have their plus points.

americans mostly prefer slapstick comedy

It's not our sensitivity- we just don't get. We don't know what you're trying to say

All i know is that the monty python tv show isn't funny at all ('m American).

Dear Senior Citizens, can you please share your valuable opinions on this ?

When someone is doing his or her best within their limitations, then relatively comparing them with others is FOOLISHNESS. A Child who comes first in a race during his junior kg years cannot be Compared to Ben Johnson at that point of time. Both will be called successful within their Limitations. People many times forget that Competition is a motivation and not a Goal. What are your opinions on this ?

Unfortunately in America many, particularly in the media, break the rules. They do compare the child to the superstar. I think you are correct, in a child's younger years competition should be used as motivation, as well as many other things, like learning team concepts. Let the professional attempt to obtain the goal.

America has gone over board in one very important aspect of competition and the rewards of same. Now a days ALL children are treated as winners, all of them get a trophy and all of them share in the benefits. The problem comes as the children age and come to realize there are indeed others that are better than you. The child may wonder why she or he was treated so differently early in age than as an older child. I sometimes wonder if this sort differential treatment results in a young adult becoming a sociopath.

I agree that real competition should be with peers. I also believe children, no matter their standing with other, should be congratulated for their effort and those with a higher aptitude congratulated for their hard work for winning. I do not go along with the philosophy that all children should be discouraged from doing better than others so everyone can be at the same level and everyone should get a trophy. That's stifling the desire to excel when you know it won't be fair to the children not up to your level of excellence and will not be rewarded. It will also give the ones being taught they are just as smart as everyone else a very rude awakening when they interact with the real world. One of my daughter's friend is a teacher and is prohibited to grade any of the class with an A or an F. If there are those in the class that can't keep up, the progression to harder problems is halted until those at the bottom of the class, as far as learning, catch up. Very boring for those who are doing over lessons that have already done and instills an attitude of resentment. IMO this is a way to begin to indoctrinate children for Socialism. To some that will sound like an extreme attitude but I see subtle signs and not so subtle signs of Socialism in Obama and the Democrats, so why would it not be introduced to the impressionable minds of children.

Competition is here to stay.

That's how we've survived throughout the eons.

As much as we don't like to admit it, when a child succeeds at something, our mind takes us to a higher level. A conscious dream, perhaps. Or maybe just hope.

Being 1st is everyones goal.

Of course not everyone is 1st. That's where a stable mind accepts the limitations of the individual and encourages the person to be the best they can be.

That's real success.

One must never compare. Everyone is blessed with certain skills and parents must appreciate such skills and motivate children to do better.

Parents must set an example so that children observe and follow such behaviour as they grow up.

Let us nurture positive thoughts, do good deeds and help the needy and poor and lead a happy life amidst all the problems that we may have to face in our daily life.

Does this imply that all IQ testing should now be "dumbed down" so the truly brain damaged won't be noticed by "polite society"?

Sorry...either I don't get it or that crappy cup of coffee is still crappy after placing heaping spoonfuls of sugar & non dairy creamer in it. It just goes down easier after I add them to the cup of crappy coffee.

Competition is not the goal, but winning is. Competition should be among peers or it isn't fair. A child may be perceived as a potential star and thereby compared, but is realistically not yet a star.

The only person we need be better than, is the person we ourselves are today. If we strive to be the best we can be, and improve the best we can, who are we to be judged against, and in who's eyes God's or man's? Only the weakness of man judges one against another.

I have used competition to improve my performance.

If the handicapped are unable to do this then they need to be appreciative to have been a participant.

This is just another example of my motto in life: Everything is relative.

A child racing at 10 is totally different than the same child at 15. There will always be someone faster, smarter or richer.

Setting targets or goals may not be incorrect -but, setting' grades' or 'ranks' do not be seem correct.

If winning wasn't important, they would not keep score

I just celebrated a home-coming for two brothers for a lesbian couple. Biological mother was negligent junkie & father in prison. -- Those boys looked so happy to be loved unconditionally. -- This was their second set of foster care children. The first did not result in adoption. The second went through after 2 or 3 years. The mother couldn't break the addiction & finally made the loving choice to give her 5 children a stable home life. The boys were 3 & 4 years old. They are of a different race than parents. They were so well behaved & very caring of each other & knew how to share kindly with other children even at their own celebration. There were photo's posted from their arrival into home over the 2 years to adoption finale. It was clear to see the fear & neglect removed from their faces over time. It was so beautiful to see them run into parents arm with trusting abandonment. -- Yes, I cried watching two young children know what it was like to be finally loved. And so important that it came so early in their lives before permanent soul damage was done. (It's term used in protective services where a child learns by abuse or neglect that they have no worth.) P.S. I thought I was against gay adoption. Now I find out I'm against any child missing one day of love in their fragile little lives. Can't just say, "Then let straight people adopt them." They weren't there in time. Each day of waiting is a day too long to be without love when you are a child. -- What about the bad effects when they are older? Who's going to be treating them badly? Not the parents that love them. So will it be you? Taunting a child just b/c it was given a home of love?

My fiance's mother is Gay...

She had him when she was 17. She married his dad and had 2 more kids.

They "had fun" sexually, but he found it 'neccesary' to cheat on her, behind her back.

She left him and has been with her... Woman... For about 11 years now.

So... She had hers totally naturally.... all her kids turned out weird.... But i think it was the daddy not being there.. and when he was.. he wasnt that great

I have an 8 year old little girl. I would love to be a surrogate! I totally enjoyed my pregnancy. I would have to guess that later on in life if my girlfriend and I were to start a family, we would find a donor that we know. I'm pretty sure that a sperm bank will not be an option.

Why is "nightmusic" hanging out in this section....why did you bother to answer the question....didn't someone ever teach you "if you don't have anything to say, then don't say anything at all"????

I'm a queer transperson, and I have two sons. Both were conceived and birthed the old fashioned way.

I feel sorry for their children. I really do. Especially the sons of lesbians. Uggh! Just what every little boy wants- 2 mothers and no father.

try toppling one from rear ?

Three questions for gay men,?

1st. is there anything wrong wanted to have my 1st time with an older giant man? where could a guy find older men? and finaly what is the best sexual position for a bottom guy?

1. Nothin at all wrong with wanting an older guy @ 1st. He'll have more experience anc b ale to guide u better. Do ya mean 'giant' as in well endowed? Bigger guys take more getting used to in the beginning....

2. ya wont have any trouble finding an older guy! lol Any gay bar, or club will have more than enough guys to hook up with.

3. The best position will vary depending on the guy or number of tops you're with. On my back works with 1 on 1 anal sex. If I'm taking two men at once anally, the easiest way is to have 1 on his back, me on him and a guy on me. Oral sex... I like to have the guy lying flat so I can suck him off at a modified 69 orientation. The curve of his package and my throat match up that way, so it's much easier to deep throat.

Hope the info helps!

Giant man? Giants don't actually exist, they're mythological creatures.

1. no

2. in a bar

3. like a dog !

do you mean a giant penis?

ouch for the first time.

Whats a better position for a bottom guy, facing his partner or facing away from him?

...Well as a top, I prefer guys to face me.

find out.

or, ask google.

OK, SORRY, I THOUGHT YOU WERE A TROLL.

facing because you can kiss.

The geometry works better with me (bottom) on my back. I sometimes need to guide him in, but after that it's 'Ride him cowboy!" lol

BOTH! WHY LIMIT YOURSELF?

Do what you are told

How long do you wait for having sex with someone you

14 seconds.

do you like the guy, and want to stick around for a while.

or do you just wanna have good time!

the faster you f, the faster you want to get rid of them.

if you want to stick aroudn for a while, tell them 'no sex' becuase you want to keep him. that way he knows why.

If you just wanna have fun, why wait?

Well, sometimes I don't.. wait a whole lot.

LOL

Provided that I really like the person AND the person likes me back..

AND we both agree to have sex.

Well I'm in high school so people usually don't wait to long.LOL!!

Me myself has never had sex so I really can't speak but I usually say that I would wait at least a few months.

Well I love sex but it depends on whenever they're ready and if i've got protection.

At least a month. I tend to get bored with people sexually and so waiting keeps me anxious/excited.

It would probably be good to wait and find out if the have any problems like aids or STDs.

I think 30 minutes is about long enough

I would wait until you get home.
